EVENT 1
Live, Learn, Play: The Future of Affordable Housing Developments
10–11:30 AM • 2000 Ridge Avenue
We’re kicking off the day with an inspiring program introducing our Live and Learn pilot—and our bold vision to build Playful Learning environments into all affordable housing developments. Then join us for a fun tour of Sharswood III’s Playful Learning installations, pioneered by Pennrose as the first to bring this innovation to a new affordable housing development!

EVENT 2
Play the Sharswood Way:
Celebrating Neighborhood
3–5 PM • 2045 Master Street
Discover how Playful Learning, a sense of belonging, and navigating the neighborhood LIVE in the heart of Sharswood. Stamp your passport as you tour the installations, grab some snacks, make some art, visit the Traveling Tree House Bookmobile, and engage in the joy of play at our neighborhood block party!
Highlights Include:
Navigation Stations with tabletop games that challenge your mind and spark your imagination
A Backyard of Natural Wonders filled with interactive puzzles, carved benches, and a magical I-Spy Little Free Library just waiting to be explored
“Run the Road” on our exciting Playful Learning course! Follow animal footprints and traffic signs as you safely zoom around our sidewalk track — and keep your eyes peeled for the I-Spy elements in our beautiful building mural!
Feel “At Home in Sharswood” with our interior mural that brings play to life in bold, colorful ways

EVENT 3
Super Play:
Unleashing Learning Through Heroes & Imagination
6–8 PM • 2137 N 15th Street

Join us for a Playful Learning Dinner Adventure! Celebrate the launch of bold, imaginative Playful Learning environments at two Susquehanna Square buildings—where graphic novels come to life. Come play, explore, visit the Traveling Tree House Bookmobile, and be the hero of your own story—at home in Susquehanna Square!
Explore superpowered spaces including:
A storybook entry gate that welcomes you into your own adventure
A cozy Welcome Nook with books and superpower prompts
An expressive Bulletin Board for sharing your story
Wall murals that spark reflection, dialogue, and heroism
A transformed bike shed with a stage, chalkboard prompts, and storytelling puzzles
A Back yard interactive puzzle wall and story wheel to spark imagination and fun
Yard benches with books and playful prompts for relaxation and connection
