Live and Learn's groundbreaking pilot initiative was featured on national news on October 20, 2025 and shared by more than 80 ABC affiliates nationwide.
We are deeply thankful to ABC News producer Mara Bush who graciously spent the day in Philadelphia visiting both of our pilot sites. Led by our PR consultant Rachel Ezekiel-Fishbein from Making Headlines, Mara had the opportunity to interview: Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, a Professor of Psychology at Temple University; Heidi Segall Levy, AIA, SEED, Associate at Watchdog; and Darnetta Arce, Executive Director of Lower North Philadelphia CDC. We were thrilled to have two young community members in tow to help activate the installations and show just how joyful and creative learning can be.
